Morse put the finishing touches on their 15th blowout victory of the season  on Thursday. Everything went their way against the La Jolla Vikings as the Morse Tigers made off with  a  12-1 victory. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for Morse considering their one-run performance the  game before.
  Reylyn Sakamoto was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   tossing two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. Sakamoto was also stellar in the batter's box,  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances with a  home run, two  stolen bases,  and three  RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as she's  now  stolen  at least one in the last three games she's  played.
 In other batting news,  Jaelyn Miller was  incredible,  scoring three  runs and  stealing two bases while  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances.  Melody Wheatley was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances.
 On La Jolla's side, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Jerri Taylor, who  got on base  in all three of her plate appearances with  an  RBI.
 Morse's win bumped their record up to 18-7. As for La Jolla, they  haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-22.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Morse will take on San Diego at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. San Diego is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.9  runs per game  this season. As for La Jolla, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Mission Bay at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
