The Upland Highlanders/Scots will take on the Etiwanda Eagles at 4:45  p.m.  on Tuesday. Upland has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the  matchup with four straight  defeats, while Etiwanda will come in with three straight  wins.
Upland had taken Los Osos down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end  on Thursday. The Highlanders/Scots came up short against  the Grizzlies, falling  3-0.
 While Upland was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-23,  25-9.
Meanwhile, Etiwanda earned  a  3-1 victory over Rancho Cucamonga  on Thursday.
 Etiwanda was especially dominant in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-10, 15-25,  25-20.
Etiwanda's win came from a few key players Upland will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was  Kylie Richardson, who  had 13  digs and four  aces. That's the most  aces  she has posted  over her last ten  matches. Another player making a difference was  Kamryn Andrews, who  had four  digs and three  aces.
 Etiwanda  was lethal from the service line and  finished the match with 17  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least seven  aces in five consecutive  contests.
 Etiwanda's win bumped their record up to 18-11. As for Upland, their loss dropped their record down to 6-10.
 Upland suffered a grim  3-0 defeat to Etiwanda  in their previous matchup  back in October of 2024. Can the Highlanders/Scots avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
