The Timpanogos Timberwolves will venture away from home to  take on the Timpview Thunderbirds  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Timpanogos will be strutting in after a  victory while Timpview will be coming in after a  loss.
Timpanogos took a four-goal  defeat the last time they faced off against Maple Mountain, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Timpanogos sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  1-0  win over Maple Mountain  on Tuesday.  Brad Ables had the honor of scoring the game-winner for the Timberwolves.
 Meanwhile, Timpview unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of Provo by a score of  2-1 on Tuesday. The  loss   continues a  trend for the Thunderbirds in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost four in a row.
 Timpanogos beat Timpview 3-1  when the teams last played  back in May of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Timpanogos since the  team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
