Ocean Springs is 8-1 against Biloxi since October of 2014, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Ocean Springs Greyhounds will be playing at home against the Biloxi Indians at 7:00 p.m. Ocean Springs will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.
Last Friday, Ocean Springs was fully in charge, breezing past Harrison Central 49-13 on the road. The result was nothing new for Ocean Springs, who have now won four matches by 25 points or more so far this season.
Ocean Springs can attribute much of their success to Will Smith, who rushed for 175 yards while picking up 10.9 yards per carry, and William Berglind, who threw for 192 yards and three touchdowns while completing 78.3% of his passes. Smith's longest rush was for an incredible 91 yards. Kristian Dillard made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.
Meanwhile, Biloxi earned a 24-14 win over St. Martin on Friday.
Biloxi's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from William Lai, who rushed for 113 yards on only nine carries.
Their wins bumped Ocean Springs to 6-1 and Biloxi to 4-4.
Everything went Ocean Springs' way against Biloxi in their previous matchup back in October of 2022 as Ocean Springs made off with a 48-28 victory. Does Ocean Springs have another victory up their sleeve, or will Biloxi turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
