Northwestern's game last Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They came out on top against the Nation Ford Falcons by a score of 74-66. The Trojans' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Northwestern was led to victory by Grant Pursley and Jayshawn Reid. Pursley went 6 for 11 on his way to 19 points and six rebounds, while Reid almost dropped a double-double on 14 points and nine boards. That's the most points Reid has posted since back in December of 2023. Mason Grier was another key player, dropping a double-double on ten points and 11 boards.

Northwestern smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've managed all season.

Nation Ford's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Chase Walters, who went 5 of 12 on his way to 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ben Chuttey, who posted ten points and six steals.

Northwestern moved to 3-7 with that win, which also ended their six-game losing streak. As for Nation Ford, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Northwestern didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 49-45 loss against Fountain Inn on the 21st. As for Nation Ford, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 52-49 victory against Butler on the 21st.
