Zane Carver Turns in Season-Best  Effort
 Kern Valley came up short  on Friday despite  Zane Carver delivering his best game to date. Carver threw for 279 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.7 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 62 yards and two touchdowns.
 Mira Monte had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw  Carver it was a similar story. Back in September (the last time  Carver saw the Lions), he rushed for 197 yards and a touchdown on only 13 carries, and also threw for 119 yards and a touchdown on only nine passes.

Big Game from Flowers As Rosamond Fell 47-34
 Rosamond was sadly handed a  loss on Friday, but  Ty'Shawn Flowers did his best to prevent it. Despite the   defeat,  Flowers was still balling out as he rushed for 77 yards and three touchdowns on only ten carries, and also threw for 161 yards and two touchdowns. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 55 yards.
 On the year,  Flowers  has thrown 9 touchdowns while averaging 141 passing yards per game.

Daniel Hinkey Makes It Two for Kern Valley
 Another Kern Valley player making an appearance on this list is  Daniel Hinkey. He made 17 total tackles.
 Unfortunately for Mira Monte, this isn't the first big game they've seen from  Hinkey. Hinkey made 22 total tackles (2.0 for loss) the last time he and the Lions duked it out  back in September.

Robert Evans Goes Supernova in Rosamond Loss

 This year,  Evans  has averaged 16.5 receiving yards per game.

Bishop Union Wins Seventh-Straight Thanks to  Malachi Orrick
  Malachi Orrick's big game helped extend Bishop Union's winning streak to seven on Friday. Nobody could stop  Orrick as he made three total tackles (1.0 for loss).
 Bishop Union's win was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 9-2. Orrick and Bishop Union will challenge Santa Ynez at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
