York Prep's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They put the hurt on the Westminster Catawba Christian Indians with a sharp 27-6 win. The Patriots' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

York Prep's victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-2. As for Westminster Catawba Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Looking ahead, York Prep will take on Great Falls at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Great Falls will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something York Prep surely won't give up without a fight. As for Westminster Catawba Christian, they will challenge NorthPoint Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Westminster Catawba Christian has given up an average of 9.8 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
