San Antonio Memorial and the Buffaloes are an even 4-4 against one another since November of 2014, but not for long. The San Antonio Memorial Minutemen will head out on the road to square off against the Fox Tech Buffaloes at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. On Friday, San Antonio Memorial took a serious blow against the Apaches, falling 72-38. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for San Antonio Memorial in their matchups with the Apaches: they've now lost four in a row.
Meanwhile, Fox Tech's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They took a hard 56-38 fall against John F. Kennedy. Fox Tech was down 46-26 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Anthony Reyes, who scored 12 points along with three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jonah De la rosa, who scored five points along with four steals.
San Antonio Memorial's loss was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-22. As for Fox Tech, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-20 record this season.
San Antonio Memorial might still be hurting after the 68-42 defeat they got from the Buffaloes in their previous meeting back in January. Can San Antonio Memorial avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
