Given their disadvantage in the MaxPreps state rankings, Bolton should expect quite the challenge on Friday. They take on Houston at 7:00 PM. With the two teams each stumbling in off of a loss, both will be hungry for the win.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 6-57, which was the final score in Bolton's tilt against Brighton last week. Bolton were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 6-36.
Meanwhile, Houston took their match against Arlington by a conclusive 48-21 score. Houston was expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Houston's victory lifted them to 2-1 while Bolton's defeat dropped them down to 0-3. We'll find out if Houston can add another positive mark to their record or if Bolton can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Houston's step.
