If the Guajome Park Academy Frogs were riding high off their 4-0 takedown of the St. Joseph Academy Crusaders two weeks ago, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Guajome Park Academy fell just short of Maranatha Christian by a score of 1-0. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, Guajome Park Academy couldn't push the score so high this time.
Guajome Park Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 11-4-2. As for Maranatha Christian, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 10-2-1.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Army-Navy the next time they take the pitch. Maranatha Christian will head out to face Army-Navy at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while Guajome Park Academy will host them on Thursday.
