Joseph Hayes gave up the fewest walks he has since back in May of 2024 on Tuesday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over four innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Goldsboro is 3-1 when he allows at most two earned runs, but 1-8 otherwise.

Looking ahead, Hayes and Goldsboro will challenge Beddingfield at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
