Collin Wanger made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over four innings pitched. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (four). He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.
In other batting news, Brashier Middle College Charter got a massive performance out of Brandon Barber, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3. Those two runs gave Barber a new career-high. Jason Staples was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
Meanwhile, Blacksburg can bid farewell to their eight-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. Everything went their way against Berea as they made off with a 10-1 victory. The Wildcats not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since March 14th.
