Mesa had to endure  a  three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with  an   8-4  win over the Dobson Mustangs  on Monday. The  victory was just what Mesa needed coming off of  a  6-0 loss in their prior  contest.
  Gabe Wojtulewicz was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he  pitched seven innings while giving up just one earned  (and three unearned) runs off   seven  hits. Wojtulewicz has been consistent recently: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in six consecutive pitching appearances. Wojtulewicz was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-3.
 In other batting news,  Max Brumett was  excellent,  scoring a  run while going 1-for-2. Another player making a difference was  Stetson Crewse, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-3.
 On Dobson's side,  Elias Murray was cooking despite his team's loss,   scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 1-for-4.
 Even though they lost, Dobson  hit smart and  finished the game with only two  strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Mesa struck out six times.
 Mesa's win bumped their record up to 6-16. As for Dobson, they have  not been sharp recently as the team has  lost nine of their last 12 matchups,  which put a noticeable dent in their 10-12 record  this season.
 Mesa will have a chance to go back-to-back against Dobson: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled  at 3:45  p.m.  on Wednesday.
