The  victory  got Freeport back to even at 5-5-1. As for Rutherford, they now  have a losing record at 4-5-1.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Freeport will head out to  face off against North Bay Haven Academy  at 7:30  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Rutherford, they will get a bit of extra time to process the  loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Bay at 6:00  p.m.  on January 6, 2025.
