Corner Canyon extended their losing streak  to 14  on Monday, dropping their season record down to 3-24 in the process. They lost  26-6 to the Lone Peak Knights. On Lone Peak's side,  Clara Gourley was a  major factor no matter where she played. She  struck out six batters over  3.2 innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits. Gourley was even better at the plate,  going 4-for-5 with four  runs, two  triples,  and three  RBI. That's the most  runs  she has posted since back in March of 2024.
 In other batting news,  Maci Koch was a standout: she got on base  in five of her six plate appearances with one  home run, three  stolen bases,  and four  runs. The dominant performance also gave  her a new career-high in  hits (three). Another player making a difference was  Ruby Nelson, who  got on base  in four of her six plate appearances with one  home run, five  runs,  and two  stolen bases.
 Corner Canyon does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lone Peak, they will take on Skyridge at 3:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. The Knights' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Falcons have averaged an impressive 7.9  runs per game this season.
