The Master's Academy is preparing for their first conference matchup of the season on Tuesday. They will venture away from home to square off against the Community Christian Academy Warriors at 4:00 p.m. The Master's Academy will be strutting in after a win while Community Christian Academy will be coming in after a loss.

Everything went The Master's Academy's way against Mountain View Christian Academy on Friday as The Master's Academy made off with a 19-6 victory. Fans of the Lions have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+ runs.
Sawyer Waugh made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Waugh was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.
In other batting news, Matthew Herring was incredible, going 3-for-5 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Another player making a difference was Noah Lail, who scored two runs while going 4-for-4.
The Master's Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .659. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Mountain View Christian Academy only posted an OBP of .438.
Meanwhile, after a string of six wins dating back to last season, Community Christian Academy's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They fell 11-7 to Alexander Christian Academy. The loss was the Warriors' first of the season.
Mason Maltba was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while going 3-for-4. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Aiden Thomas, who scored two runs and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-4.
The Master's Academy's record is now 3-0. As for Community Christian Academy, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.
Both the two teams just can't seem to miss. The Master's Academy has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 12 hits per game. However, it's not like Community Christian Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 5.3 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
