Lamar never let their opponents score on Friday. They put the hurt on the Lee Central Stallions with a sharp 18-0 win. The Silver Foxes might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by ten runs or more this season.

Ethan Munn was a standout: he went a perfect 3-for-3 with two triples, five RBI, and two runs. He has become a key player for Lamar: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 5-6 otherwise. Zori Pierce also deserves some recognition as he launched his first home run of the season.

Lamar always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .704. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lee Central only posted an OBP of .100.

The victory made it two in a row for Lamar and bumps their season record up to 8-6. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 8 runs in those games. As for Lee Central, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-8.

Coming up, Lamar will face off against Lake City at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Lee Central, they will challenge McBee at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Panthers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so the Stallions' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
