Paxton has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will take on the Geneva County Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On Tuesday, Paxton beat Destin 47-35. That's two games straight that Paxton has won by exactly 12 points.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Paxton to victory, but perhaps none more so than Noah Morgan, who scored ten points along with nine rebounds and two steals. Morgan hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Sawyer Adams, who scored 11 points.
Meanwhile, Geneva County entered their tilt with Wicksburg with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. Geneva County came out on top against Wicksburg by a score of 59-52 on Friday.
Paxton is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season. As for Geneva County, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-11.
Everything came up roses for Paxton against Geneva County when the teams last played back in November of 2023 as the squad secured a 65-37 win. With Paxton ahead 34-13 at the half, the game was all but over already.
