Basketball Recap: Crestwood Makes It Four in a Row on the Road

Crestwood lost to Wilson back in January of 2020, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Crestwood Knights snuck past the Wilson Tigers with a 56-51 win.

Wilson's loss came despite strong showings from Josh Leonard and Isaiah Addison. Leonard dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten boards, while Addison went 6 of 9 on his way to 13 points and five boards. That was a full 41.2% of Wilson's points, marking the third time in a row he's posted more than a third of the team's points.

Crestwood pushed their record up to 12-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Wilson, their defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 9-7.

Crestwood will welcome Hartsville at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Crestwood knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 12 matchups -- so hopefully Hartsville likes a good challenge. As for Wilson, they will venture away from home to take on Lower Richland at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Wilson is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.
