 Ropes  was lethal from the service line and  finished the game with 17  aces. That's a new  trend for them: they were averaging 0  aces per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 matches they've averaged 11.9.
 Ropes has  been performing  well recently as they've  won five of their last six matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 19-11 record  this season. As for Talkington School for Young Women Leaders,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 5-11.
