Ida got themselves on the board against Napoleon on Saturday, but Napoleon never followed suit. They blew past the Pirates 12-0. With that  win, the Bluestreaks brought their scoring average up to 6.1  runs per game.
 Alex Haws was a  major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run over six innings pitched. Haws was also big at the plate,  going 1-for-3 with three  RBI, one  triple,  and one  run. That  run marked the first that  she has  scored this season.
 In other batting news, Ida got a  massive  performance out of  Madi McCain, who  went 2-for-4 with two  runs, one  triple,  and two  RBI. That  triple was  McCain's first of the season. Another player making a difference was  Jessica Schrader, who  went 2-for-3 with two  runs, one  triple,  and one  stolen base.
 Ida was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .407. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Napoleon only posted a  batting average of  .136.
The  victory snapped Ida's losing streak at three games  and leaves them with a 3-4 record. As for Napoleon,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 3-5.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ida will square off against Madison at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Napoleon, they will challenge Grass Lake at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday.
