After losing to Franklin Regional the last time they met, Hempfield Area decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Spartans enjoyed a cozy 31-14 victory over the Panthers on Friday.
Hempfield Area's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Aidan Stinebiser, who rushed for 79 yards and two TDs. Those two rushing touchdowns gave Stinebiser a new career-high. Another passer making a difference was Dominic Detruf, who threw for 202 yards and one touchdown on only 15 passes.
