The Bishop Amat Lancers are taking a road trip to  take on the Sacred Heart of Jesus Comets  at 7:00  p.m.  on Monday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Bishop Amat has three straight  victories, Sacred Heart of Jesus has six straight  defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Bishop Amat is headed in fresh off scoring the most  points they have   all season. They breezed past St. Bernard to the tune of  50-0 on Wednesday. Considering the Lancers have won seven contests by more than 19  points this season, Wednesday's  blowout was nothing new.
Bishop Amat found their leader in freshman  Zoey Rolon, who rushed for 60 yards and one  touchdown, and also threw for 161 yards and one  TD while completing 88.9% of her passes. Another player making a difference was  Lyla Terry, who threw for 114 yards and a pair of  touchdowns while completing 90.9% of her passes.
 One reason for the win was Bishop Amat's imposing  defense, which managed to get into the backfield for four sacks. Leading the way was  Vivian Yamzon with  three.
 Meanwhile, Sacred Heart of Jesus was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap  last Wednesday as they fell  18-12 to Ramona Convent. That's two games in a row now that the Comets have lost by  exactly six  points.
 Bishop Amat's win bumped their record up to 17-5. As for Sacred Heart of Jesus, their loss dropped their record down to 1-12.
