The Osage Indians's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fourth straight loss. Their tough 73-50 loss to Moberly might stick with them for a while. Osage was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Moberly apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2022.
Moberly got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Cameron Doubrava out in front who scored 21 points. Those 21 points set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Ty Rucker, who scored 13 points along with eight rebounds.
Osage's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Moberly, their win bumped their record up to 6-4.
Osage will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Lebanon at 5:00 p.m. on January 12th. As for Moberly, they will head out on the road to face off against Hallsville at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Hallsville's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season.
