Kenton extended the longest winning streak in Western Buckeye this week by beating Triway, 46-6. The win marks 12th in a row for the the Wildcats.
Kenton took down the Titans 46-6 last week, the largest margin of any game. Grant Sherman threw for 428 yards and 5 touchdowns and ran for 22 yards during the win.
Mike Mauk's team's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground Matt Bahr chipped in 69 yards. Kollin Stollar helped Kenton's passing attack out by catching 7 balls for 144 yards.
He was 22-37 with 3 interceptions.
Justin Sawmiller was the best wideout in the league this week as the Wildcats bested Triway. Sawmiller racked up 7 receptions for 143 yards. Stollar helped Kenton's passing attack out by catching 7 balls for 144 yards.
Kenton's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Wildcats feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Sherman has thrown for 4,966 yards and 58 touchdowns this season, while Sawmiller has 123 catches for 1,959 yards.
Memorial made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 9,291 from 9,353.
