Asa Briggs was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched five innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Kentin Grantz, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Southeast Career Tech skirted past Bonanza 4-3 in their previous matchup back in April. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Roadrunners since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
