After flying high against Provo last Wednesday, American Leadership Academy came back down to earth. The American Leadership Academy Eagles lost 16-8 to the Park City Miners on Monday. Macee Kelsey made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double. Ryan Hiss was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.
American Leadership Academy now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Park City, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. American Leadership Academy will take on Hunter at 9:00 a.m. on Friday. As for Park City, they will challenge Murray at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
