Norview has enjoyed the comforts of home their last five games, but now they'll head out on the road. Having just played yesterday, they will jump right back in to play the Deep Creek Hornets at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Norview posted their biggest victory since December 13, 2023 on Friday. They claimed a resounding 48-13 win over Churchland at home. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Norview has posted against Churchland since January 18, 2019.
Kiyah Fitchett was her usual excellent self, scoring 15 points along with six rebounds and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Reannah Sanders, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Meanwhile, Deep Creek scored the most points they've had all season to find success last Friday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 66-4 victory over Lakeland. The victory was nothing new for Deep Creek as they're now sitting on three straight.
Deep Creek got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Alayah Monroe out in front who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds. Asia Keels was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with six steals.
Norview's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-4. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 31.67 points. As for Deep Creek, their win bumped their record up to 8-1.
