The Estero Wildcats are on the road again  on Wednesday to play the Robinson Knights at 7:00  p.m. Estero is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.5  runs per game  this season.
 Estero heads in on the heels of a playoff  contest last Tuesday. They fell just short of Bonita Springs by a score of  7-5.
  Joey Gray spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned  (and six unearned) runs on eight hits and racked up ten Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in three consecutive pitching appearances.
 At the plate,  Jenel Favata was cooking despite her team's loss,   scoring a  run while going 4-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of  Dena Peregrin, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-3.
 Meanwhile, Robinson can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent  game  on Thursday. They put the hurt on Jefferson with a sharp  14-4 victory. 14 seems to be a good number for Robinson as the  team scooped up a  win with the same number of  runs in their previous game.
 Robinson got a  massive  performance out of  Araya Stearns, who  went 1-for-4 with a  home run, two  stolen bases,  and three  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Morgan Mason, who  scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-3.
 Estero's loss dropped their record down to 17-7. As for Robinson,  the  victory  made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 11-10.
 Wednesday's   match will be a test for both team's pitchers. Estero hasn't had any issues making contact this season,  having earned a batting average of .362. However, it's not like Robinson struggles in that department as   they've  averaged .342. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
 Estero might still be hurting after the  19-1 defeat they got from Robinson  in their previous meeting  back in April of 2021. Can Estero avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
