The Nogales Nobles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their third straight loss. They fell 66-59 to Montclair. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Nogales lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Isaac Garcia, who scored 21 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gilbert Guillan, who scored 18 points.
Nogales' defeat dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Montclair, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a massive bump to their 11-8 record this season.
Nogales' road trip will continue as they head out to face Calvary Baptist at 6:00 p.m. on January 5th. Calvary Baptist will be looking to keep their seven-game home win streak alive. Montclair will take on Bloomington at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
