The Austin Maroons will head out on the road to face off against the Dripping Springs Tigers at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Texas (Austin is ranked 201st, while Dripping Springs is ranked 184th).
For the first time since back in January, Austin was forced to settle for a draw on Friday. They and Anderson finished up their matchup with a 1-1 draw.
Meanwhile, Dripping Springs fell victim to Anderson's stalwart defense on Tuesday and couldn't make it onto the board. Their rough 3-0 loss to the Trojans might stick with them for a while. While getting shut out isn't ideal, Dripping Springs has not been shut out since back in January.
With that draw, Austin's record moves to 6-5-2. As for Dripping Springs, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-7-2.
Austin might still be hurting after the 8-1 loss they got from Dripping Springs in their previous matchup back in February of 2023. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Austin was down 5-0.
