 East Valley Athletes for Christ's  loss shouldn't obscure the performances of  Ajay Hoover, who  scored 15 points along with seven  rebounds, and  Michael Sorensen who  scored 15 points along with two  steals. The team also got some help courtesy of  Landen Marker, who  scored 11 points along with five  rebounds.
 Noble-Whitley Warriors' defeat dropped their record down to 22-16. As for East Valley Athletes for Christ, their loss dropped their record down to 12-12.
 Wednesday's  contest  is one where the number of possessions is likely to be a big factor:  Noble-Whitley Warriors  have been smashing the glass this season,  having  averaged 31.3  rebounds per game.
