Eldon was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight  defeat. They came up short against  the Helias Crusaders, falling  3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Mustangs of the  3-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in October of 2023.
 Eldon was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Helias work for it, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 26-24,  25-12.
 When it comes to explaining why Eldon lost, don't look at  Reyna Taylor. Despite the final result, she  had 21  digs. Taylor is  on a roll when it comes to  digs, as she's  now  had 20 or more in the last three games she's  played dating back to last season.
 Helias was led to victory by  Lauren Schroeder and  Liza Boyer.  Schroeder  had 22  digs, while  Boyer  had 16  digs.
 Eldon's defeat dropped their record down to 21-11-1. As for Helias, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won 15 of their last 16 games,  which provided a nice bump to their 27-6-1 record  this season.
 Eldon will square off against Warsaw at 5:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Eldon is facing Warsaw at the right time seeing as Warsaw is stuck on  a  three-game losing streak. Helias does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
