After a string of five wins, Saratoga's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They were dealt a punishing 78-25 defeat at the hands of the Cokeville Panthers. That's the fewest points Saratoga has scored all year.
Saratoga's loss pushed them down to 10-8. The victory was the fifth in a row for Cokeville and raised their record to 13-2.
Saratoga will be playing at home against Little Snake River Friday. The MaxPreps rankings favor Saratoga, but they won't be able to rely on this superior ranking alone to carry them to victory. Cokeville has the luxury of staying at home another game and will welcome Farson-Eden Friday. Farson-Eden is also hoping to continue their momentum after a 44-30 win over Encampment on Saturday.
