Iota entered their tilt with Lacassine on Monday with six consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with seven. They blew past the Cardinals 17-1. Considering the Bulldogs have won 14 contests by more than seven  runs this season, Monday's  blowout was nothing new.

 Iota  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 18  hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  got at least nine  hits in seven consecutive  games.
Iota's victory was  their fourth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 23-3. The  home  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 14.0 runs over those games. As for Lacassine,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 7-5.
 Coming up, Iota will welcome Mamou  at 5:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. The Demons will roll in looking for their  fifth straight  victory, something the Bulldogs surely won't give up without a fight. As for Lacassine, they will face off against Westgate at 5:30  p.m.  on Wednesday.
