Penfield gave up the first runs on Tuesday, but they didn't let that get them down. They put the hurt on the Honeoye Falls-Lima Cougars with a sharp 14-6 victory. With that win, the Patriots brought their scoring average up to 6.4 runs per game.

Alexi Cimino was incredible, firing off four doubles, three RBI, and two runs while going 4-for-5. Those doubles marked the first that she has hit this season. Vivian Russo was another key player, going 2-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one double.

Penfield was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

With the victory, Penfield broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-5. As for Honeoye Falls-Lima, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Looking ahead, Penfield will face off against Victor at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Patriots are facing the Blue Devils at the right time seeing as the Blue Devils are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Honeoye Falls-Lima, they are headed away from home for the first time to face off against Churchville-Chili at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
