The Center Cougars scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 93-29 victory over Lindhurst at home. The victory was some much needed relief for Center as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.
It was another big night for Dominic Johnson, who scored 26 points along with eight rebounds and two steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Terrill Reid, who scored 11 points along with seven assists and five steals.
Center's victory bumped their record up to 12-14. As for Lindhurst, their defeat was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-24.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Center won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Twelve Bridges at 7:00 p.m. on February 7th. Lindhurst will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 1377th, while Marysville is ranked 575th).
