Forestview scored the most  runs they've had all season  on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of the Ashbrook Greenwave by a score of  12-10. Both teams can probably skip cardio this week after making that many trips around the bases.

 On Ashbrook's side,  Brayden Auten made a splash while hitting and pitching. He  struck out nine batters over  5.1 innings while giving up just one earned  (and four unearned) runs off   eight  hits (and only one walk). Auten has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in five consecutive pitching appearances. Auten was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
 In other batting news,  Johann Antonio was  incredible,  scoring two  runs and  stealing three bases while  getting on base  in four of his five plate appearances. Another player making a difference was  Kenneth Bird, who  scored two  runs while going 3-for-5.
 Forestview dropped their record down to 1-13 with that  loss, which was their ninth straight  at home dating back to last season. As for Ashbrook, their win  ended  a  six-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 4-10.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Forestview will take on Palisades at 6:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. The last three games Forestview has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Ashbrook, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Forestview at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday.
