The matchup between Blountstown and Port St. Joe on Friday hardly resembled the 13-9 effort from their previous meeting. The Tigers took their game with ease, bagging a 60-13 win over the Tiger Sharks. The victory continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Tiger Sharks: they've now won six in a row.

Amari Thomas was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 174 yards and three touchdowns on only nine carries. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 71-yard run. Demarkus Roberts was in the mix too, providing Blountstown with two TDs.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Blountstown was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 250 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 155 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.

Several Tiger Sharks players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jayden Reese, who picked up 79 receiving yards and a pair of scores. Another player making a difference was Corban Butts, who rushed for 136 yards.

Blountstown's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Port St. Joe, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Looking ahead, Blountstown will venture away from home to face off against Arnold at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Port St. Joe, they will host Leon at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
