Carver High School of Engineering & Science's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lut Young, who scored nine points along with six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Young has scored all season. Anthony Brown was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with seven rebounds.
The win makes it two in a row for Pennington and bumps their season record up to 7-4. As for Carver High School of Engineering & Science, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-2.

The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Pennsylvania (Springside Chestnut Hill Academy is ranked 56th, while Carver High School of Engineering & Science is ranked 73rd).
