It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but The Passaic Valley Hornets ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They managed a 13-7 win over Vernon. The win was familiar territory for Passaic Valley who now have three in a row.
When it comes to explaining why Vernon lost, one person who can't be blamed is Logan Pych. Despite the final result, he rushed for 202 yards, and also threw for two yards and a touchdown while completing 100% of his passes. Pych hasn't dropped below 100 rushing yards for nine straight games.
Passaic Valley is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. As for Vernon, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-2.
