Calvary Christian is 4-0 against Tabernacle Christian since December of 2020, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Calvary Christian EAGLES will be playing at home against the Tabernacle Christian Eagles at 7:15 p.m. Calvary Christian will be looking to keep their seven-game home win streak alive.
Even though Mooresville Christian scored an imposing 58 points on Tuesday, Calvary Christian still came out on top. Calvary Christian had just enough and edged Mooresville Christian out 60-58.
Calvary Christian can attribute much of their success to Josiah Obando, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 15 rebounds, and Braeden Pero, who scored 24 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jeffrey Coy, who scored eight points.
Tabernacle Christian aren't just finding sucess at home, as their game on Monday extended their overall winning streak to five. They really took it to Fishers Christian Academy for the full four quarters, racking up a 69-22 win at home. With Tabernacle Christian ahead 43-17 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Calvary Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season. As for Tabernacle Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 10-12.
Calvary Christian skirted past Tabernacle Christian 57-55 in their previous matchup back in February of 2023. Will Calvary Christian repeat their success, or does Tabernacle Christian have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
