The Calhoun Falls Charter Blue Flashes waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with three straight wins but they left with four. They walked away with a 62-53 win over Dixie. This was payback for Calhoun Falls Charter, who suffered a 56-50 defeat the last time these two teams met.
When it comes to explaining why Dixie lost, one person who can't be blamed is Jaren Byers. Despite the final result, he scored 20 points along with five assists and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Staylon Johnson, who scored 13 points.
Calhoun Falls Charter has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season. As for Dixie, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-5.

Dixie will take on the Hornets at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. South Carolina School for the Deaf & Blind will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps South Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 308th, while the Hornets are ranked 119th).
