The Rock Canyon Jaguars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 20 points or more this season. They blew past Smoky Hill 83-10 on the road. Rock Canyon's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Sarah Davis was her usual excellent self, scoring 13 points along with five steals. She hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Alyssa Goode, who scored eight points along with six assists.
Rock Canyon pushed their record up to 10-1 with that victory, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.3 points per game. As for Smoky Hill, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rock Canyon will take on George Washington at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Smoky Hill, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Denver North at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Denver North presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Smoky Hill in Colorado (Denver North is ranked 135th, while Smoky Hill is ranked 311th).
