Platteview is 0-4 against Ralston since October of 2015 but things could change on Friday. The Trojans will welcome the Rams at 7:00 p.m. Platteview is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 28.2 points per game this season.

Last Friday, Platteview was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 19-14 to Pius X. Despite 108 more yards than the Thunderbolts, the Trojans couldn't convert that extra yardage to scores.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Logan Grosdidier, who threw for 304 yards and a pair of TDs, and also rushed for 32 yards. Owen Trofholz was Grosdidier's top target, picking up 119 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Meanwhile, Ralston played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 54-21 loss at the hands of Skutt Catholic. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Nebraska football rankings (they are ranked 85th, while the SkyHawks are ranked 20th).

Like Platteview, Ralston lost despite seeing results from several players. Cade Stix led the charge by rushing for 25 yards and a pair of scores, while also throwing for 183 yards on only 14 passes. The Rams also got help from Broderyck Jenkins, who showed off his sure hands for 82 receiving yards.

Having lost for the first time this season, Platteview fell to 3-1. As for Ralston, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Platteview and Ralston were almost perfectly matched up in their previous matchup back in September of 2024, but Platteview suffered an agonizing 21-20 defeat.
