On Friday Buford take on Carolina Christian Cavaliers at 7:30 PM. Buford are coming into the game hot, having won four in a row.
It was all tied up at the half for Buford and Central last Friday, but Buford stepped up in the second half. Buford narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Central 14-12. The tight race was right in line with the MaxPreps state rankings' forecast.
Meanwhile, Carolina Christian Cavaliers were able to grind out a solid victory over Hickory Hawks, winning 20-12.
