With a playoff game on the line, Eldon rose to the challenge  on Thursday. They came out on top against the Southern Boone Eagles by a score of  3-1. The  victory was nothing new for the Mustangs as they're now sitting on three straight.
 The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-23, 21-25,  25-15.
  Reyna Taylor was nothing short of spectacular: she  had 24  digs and two  aces. She is  on a roll when it comes to  digs, as she's  now  had 20 or more in the last six games she's  played.
 Eldon  was lethal from the service line and  finished the game with 15  aces. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their  ace total in three consecutive  contests.
  Cami Herin and  Sadie Ahern certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss.  Herin  had 31  digs, while  Ahern  had 13  digs.
 Eldon's win bumped their record up to 24-11-1. As for Southern Boone,  the  loss snapped their winning streak at five games  and leaves them with a 21-6-1 record.
 Eldon didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  matchup,  a  3-0  victory against MICDS on the 2nd. Southern Boone does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
