After a string of six wins, United South's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Medina Valley.

United South saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alfonso Ramirez, who went 1-for-2 with one double. That double marked the first that Ramirez hit this season.

United South's loss dropped their record down to 19-7. As for Medina Valley, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-9.

While United South had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
