Arcadia/Loup City took a serious blow against the Wildcats, falling 54-26. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Arcadia/Loup City in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now lost seven in a row.
Despite the defeat, Arcadia/Loup City had strong showings from Max Lewandowski, who scored seven points along with two steals and two blocks, and Eli Jaixen, who scored nine points.
Arcadia/Loup City has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season. As for St. Paul, their win bumped their record up to 5-11.
Arcadia/Loup City will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Spartans at 7:30 p.m. Ansley/Litchfield presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Rebels in Nebraska (the Spartans are ranked 46th, while the Rebels are ranked 204th). St. Paul is on the road again on Tuesday and plays the Bluejays on February 6th. Ravenna is on a four-game streak of home losses, the Wildcats a five-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change.
