Even though Cambridge Academy has not done well against Anderson Christian recently (they were 1-7 in their previous eight matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Cambridge Academy took down Anderson Christian 66-50. The victory was just what Cambridge Academy needed coming off of a 70-48 defeat in their prior game.
It was another big night for Maddox Lee, who went 7 for 13 from beyond the arc en route to 32 points and 1 assist. Another player making a difference was Andrew Wiley, who scored eight points along with ten rebounds and four steals.
Meanwhile, Barnes Academy lost to Oconee Christian Academy on the road by a decisive 61-45 margin on Tuesday.
Cambridge Academy's victory ended a 14-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 7-9. As for Barnes Academy, their loss was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 2-4.
